This £76m 450 bed hospital
complex occupying the site of the existing Halifax General replaced the existing units on the same site, The Royal Halifax
Infirmary and Northowarm Hospital. The brief was to bring the catering area specification and design in line with the
rest of the facilities, capable of delivering a high standard of foodservice for patients, staff and visitors.
Tony
Galvin designed the new system and infrastructure necessary to support the proposed catering provision and new cook chill
system.
Tony detailed and tendered the design and monitored the cateirng equipment fit out.
