Hertford Regional College is an FE college based over two sites, Broxbourne and Ware.  The college has around 12,000 students and employs 900 staff.  The works involved construction of a new college building on each site, both requiring a student refectory and Cafe and on one site a 120 place children's nursery. Broxbourne became home to Hospitality and Catering comprising a Restaurant Production Kitchen, stores, separate Pastry Kitchen and highly renowned 'Atrium' Restaurant and Bar.  The Food Technology Kitchen on Level One has 16 workstations with AV technology.  All kitchens were fitted out to a commercial standard.
The College's new centre is situated in the heart of Spalding, Lincolnshire. The centre's 'Sage Restaurant' is an exciting commercial run training facility offering two distinct high quality dining experiences; a flexible, reasonably priced lunch menu celebrating local seasonal produce and a fine dining evening menu offering a more luxurious pace. Designed by A&E Partnership the 70-80 cover facility incorporates pastry and cold preparation areas around a central cooking suite.  A  Chef's Table for 10-12 customers is available for dedicated service by the Head Chef on duty at the time.
Serving North Bracknell, Garth Hill College is a DIES designated technology college for pupils aged 11-19.  A&E Partnership were employed by Mace Plus to assist in the design and implementation of catering facilities at the new school.
Comprising dining facilities to serve a  total occupancy of 1,600 pupils with separate curriculum Food Technology and Vocational Training facilities, the new building was to achieve BREEAM 'very good'.  In addition the scope included design of all catering related secondary M&E and ventilation systems, ductwork, canopies and ventilated ceilings.
